About Our Parish

Christ the King Catholic Church is located in the Suburb of Abuja, in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja, Nigeria.  The Parish also known as the Golden Parish is nestled between two Churches, the Presbyterian Church and The Anglican Church, along Gado Nasko Way, Kubwa-Abuja.

CKC Kubwa Parish, as it is commonly known, is a Community with the unique blend of faith-filled people from Diverse ethnic, social, racial, and economic backgrounds working together in hope of God’s kingdom. However, the parish is actually made up of the Catholic people who live here.This vibrant community includes the hundreds of babies baptized each year and the over six thousand parishioners’ of parents and families. It includes young people in high school, at university and in the workforce, as well as a solid core of parishioners who have lived in the area for many decades. Both the wealthy and poor, the young and old worship with us in our various masses which are said thrice daily with exception of Sundays when five Masses, including the children’s Mass, are conducted.

The administration of the Parish

The administration of the Parish is divided into two major councils, namely the Parish Pastoral Council which is the highest advisory body of the Church and the Laity Council which help advise the pastor on the various areas of Parish Liturgical life.There are also the various pious societies, special committees and state organizations/associations that contribute spiritually and morally for the benefit of the church.
